Re-locatable Habitat Unit (RHU)

The ultimate in modularity, the (patent-pending) RHU is based on a 4’ x 8’ lightweight (less than 100 pounds), composite material panel system that is engineered to assemble into multi-story, complex configurations with only one tool. Materials and construction provide all-weather, long-lasting structures suitable for year-round military training in all environments. RHUs are radio frequency (RF) transparent, making instrumentation easy.

The Hyper-Realistic^TM RHU is designed by movie-industry professionals and military tacticians to faithfully replicate any area of the world in appearance, construction material, and type, offering a wide array of textures and looks. The design and configurations of the RHUs are based on the knowledge of military tactics, techniques, and procedures, and the experience in providing training to more than 327,000 military personnel prior to deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan.

The RHU is re-locatable without using major, expensive, heavy-duty construction equipment. The RHU is lighter than any other technology. It is so deployable that it is the only technology that can be installed at the remote mountain locations at Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Center above 8,000 feet in elevation, accessible only with four-wheel drive vehicles. The RHU can be set up, disassembled, and relocated with considerably less time, tools, equipment, expense, and need for skilled labor than any other technology.
