Ship Simulators

Strategic Operations designed, developed, integrated, and delivered Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure (VBSS) and Force Protection Ship Simulators for the US Navy’s Center for Navy Security Forces at Naval Station San Diego; Northwest Annex, Chesapeake, Virginia; Naval Station Mayport, Florida, and Naval Station Pearl Harbor.

These simulators incorporated commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) computers, software, equipment, special effects, and entertainment industry techniques to create imaginative and convincing experiences for visit, board search and seizure, ant-terrorism (AT) and force protection (FP) training.  ST/OPS modified existing ISO containers to create state-of-the-art simulation trainers to replicate Navy and Merchant ships, provided special effects, operation controls, expanded classrooms, and installed digital video for recording students’ tactical actions and playback during daily critiques.
